Job Description
Job Summary :
Our client is a well-established and reputable Real Estate company with a strong presence across commercial and residential property markets. Known for their strong governance, long-term investment approach, and collaborative culture, they offer an environment where finance professionals are valued as key business partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare full Annual Financial Statements (AFS)
- Compile audit packs and liaise with external auditors
- Report to external stakeholders, investors, and lenders
- Maintain the fixed assets and property asset registers
- Manage lease accounting and rental income reconciliations
- Handle VAT calculations, submissions, and reconciliations
- Assist with or independently prepare budgets and forecasts
- Provide financial analysis to support property and investment decisions
- Proficiency in ERP / Property management systems (SAP, Oracle, Yardi)
- Strong Excel and financial reporting skills
- Solid knowledge of GAAP, IFRS (including IFRS 16) and compliance requirements
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- BCom Accounting (essential)
- Minimum 3 years' commercial experience (essential)
- Real Estate or property-related industry experience (advantageous)
