Key outputs:
Trial Balance complete and accurate (system and manual entries) within timelines to ensure timeous Corporate reporting
Ensure Compliance with Group policies
Internal & External Audit requirements processing
Weekly Expense Claims Signoff
Review and signoff journals in line with group policy
Prepare payroll reconciliation
Investigate/respond to queries (variance analysis etc)
Collating of information to be processed monthly and the processing thereof
Prepare the monthly and quarterly reporting to be submitted to Corporate
Finalise monthly VAT recons & submission thereof
Review & prepare GL reconciliations prior to FM review
Oversee/Finalise preparation of tax packs per Corporate deadlines
Manage Fixed Asset Register for business unit
Preparation and processing of LC documentation
Review CFC account reconciliation regularly
Various banking requirements
Annual Insurance declarations preparation
Fixed Asset Budgets
Overall support to FM as and when is necessary
Ad-hoc functions as per management discretion
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
  • Professional certification (e.g., CA) Advantageous.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial accounting, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Experience in managing a team of bookkeepers.
  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
  • Proficient in financial software and systems (e.g., ERP, accounting packages).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
