We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing manufacturing business that plays a key role in supplying essential products. Known for their operational efficiency, quality-driven culture, and investment in technology, this company is seeking an accountant who thrives in a hands-on, fast-moving environment. This is a key finance role where you'll be involved in the full finance function - from transactional oversight and month-end processing to financial reporting and operational support. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys being close to operations and wants to make a visible impact in a production-driven environment.
Duties include (not limited to)
- Full accounting function: general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and reporting packs
- VAT, tax and statutory submissions
- Overseeing AP and AR processes and controls
- Inventory and cost accounting support
- Completed BCom degree in a related field
- 2+ years' experience within a similar role
- Experience within a manufacturing environment is beneficial
