Job Description
Join a leading investment management firm as a Financial Accountant. Were looking for someone experienced, detail-oriented, and technically strong to take charge of financial reporting, compliance, and analysis while supporting the broader finance team.Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyse financial statements
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and tax compliance
- Support internal and external audits
- Process month-end entries and perform bank reconciliations (local & offshore)
- Handle VAT reconciliations, tax calculations, and SARB submissions
- Release monthly payments to fund managers and creditors
- BCom Accounting/Finance (Accounting designation preferred)
- 35 years' financial accounting experience in investment management
- Solid Excel skills; JDE knowledge an advantage
- Strong understanding of IFRS, financial systems, and tax regulations
