Purpose of the Job:
The key purpose of this role is to advise on business planning and factors affecting performance and
helping leaders of organisations make large-scale decisions. This might involve giving guidance on
investments, savings, collating, preparing, and interpreting reports, budgets, accounts, and financial
statements. undertaking strategic analysis and assisting with strategic planning.
This position reports directly to the Senior Financial Manager will work hand in hand with Directors of Riches & Beyond.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company, invoicing, and other transactions and assist where assist the Finance team as and when required
Assist the SFM to track the company's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement
Seek out methods for minimising financial risk to the company
Provide insightful information and expectations to senior executives to aid in long-term and short-term decision making
Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports
Present financial reports to board members, stakeholders, executives, and clients in formal meetings
Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company
Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation.
Assist in develop and managing financial systems/models
Completion and submission of SARS Returns (VAT, Income Tax, Provisional Tax)
Ad hoc duties as and when required
Qualifications
NQF 6 Relevant tertiary qualification or degree in accounting, business, economics, finance, or a related field
Completed SAIPA articles
Experience
Minimum of 5 years post article work experience as a Financial Accountant role
Completed SAIPA articles
Experience
Minimum of 5 years post article work experience as a Financial Accountant role with
Management experience
Consolidate balance sheet reporting, coordinating with many operating companies
Monthly forecast and variance reporting and budget input
Working with senior management on potential acquisitions
Review of financial forecast and calculation and group consolidation adjustments
Coordinate any SOX control changes
Cashflow reporting
Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
Budget and Spend Management - ensure that all cost estimates and invoices are
processed
Excellent overall knowledge of requisitioning, purchasing, payments and accounting
Skills
Demonstrated strong business acumen and attention to detail and accuracy

Being able to effectively communicate with external clients and internal teams
Understanding of internal controls and basic audit skills
