Job Description
The client places great emphasis on candidates possessing substantial financial accounting expertise, proven experience in managing small teams, and most importantly, a background in working with Forex.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Matric + completed financial degree
- Minimum 5 years experience as a financial accountant
- Forex experience is essential
- Experience on Navision Microsoft highly advantageous
- Excellent Excel skills
Update exchange rates on a daily basis.
Perform monthly reconciliation of intercompany loans and control accounts.
Handle rebate reconciliation.
Process journal entries.
Ensure accurate capturing of all intercompany invoices.
Monthly verification and input of petty cash transactions.
Record bank statements into the system.
Oversee rebate invoicing, reconciliation, and settlements.
Prepare for audits, compile audit files, and address audit inquiries.
Complete monthly reconciliations and submit VAT returns.
Assist in preparing Management accounts.
Establish and maintain the accounting system.
