Job Description
Our client, a dynamic and fast-paced player in the retail industry, is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their finance team on a permanent basis.
This is an exciting opportunity for a vibrant, detail-oriented finance professional who is eager to make an impact and grow with a company that values innovation and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full financial accounting function, including:
- Preparation and review of monthly and annual financial statements
- Reconciliations of general ledger accounts
- Journals, accruals, and prepayments
- Fixed asset management
- VAT, tax compliance, and statutory submissions
- Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Assist with internal and external audit processes.
- Ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS and internal policies
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business performance
- Providing financial insight to support operational decision-making
- Bcom Accounting Degree
- Immediately available or available at short notice
- Excellent communication skills verbal and written
- Highly interactive with strong interpersonal abilities
- Passionate about business and numbers
- Energetic and enthusiastic a true team player
