Financial Accountant
Job Description
:
Maintain accurate financial records using ACCPAC, MDA and CaseWare
Reconcile all accounts periodically and process invoices, receipts, and returns
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements and profit and loss accounts
Assist in audit preparations and respond to audit queries
Maintain supporting documentation and financial records of subsidiaries
Analyze financial statements, manage cash flow and ensure tax compliance
Assist in budgeting and provide commentary on variances
Draw up trial balances and balance sheets
Ensure safeguarding of all financial data and compliance with updated standardsSkills & Experience:
Strong knowledge of IFRS for SMEs and South African tax legislation
Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to handle complexity and present data clearly
Proficient in ACCPAC, MDA, and CasewareQualification:
Degree in Accounting (Articles advantageous)Contact
