Our client, a respected and growing name in the construction industry, is looking for a Financial Accountant who's as solid with numbers as they are with deadlines. This is your opportunity to join a hands-on team where your expertise will directly support the infrastructure that builds South Africa.
Duties:
- Full financial function: journals, reconciliations, month-end and year-end processes
- Project costing, revenue recognition, and WIP analysis
- Assist in budget preparation and cash flow management
- Prepare audit packs and liaise with external auditors
- Ensure compliance with tax, statutory and industry-specific regulations
Qualifications:
- Completed BCom degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- SAICA or SAIPA articles
- At least 2 years' post-articles experience in the construction or related industries
- Solid knowledge of full financial function, including monthly reporting, budgets, and reconciliations
- Knowledge of BuildSmart
