Main Purpose of the Position:
Independently manage a portfolio of Moore clients, delivering outsourced accounting and tax services.
Minimum Requirements
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Detailed knowledge of Accounting to Balance Sheet, including reconciliations
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, Xero, and CaseWare
Good understanding of VAT and Tax principles
Perform assignments from start to finish and take full responsibility for completion
Annual Financial Statements preparation, experience with different entity types (companies, trusts, sole proprietors, etc.) (IRFS for SMEs)
Financial analysis: Ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
South African Revenue Service (SARS) systems. Familiarity with eFiling and other SARS platforms.

Qualifications and Experience:
BCom or Honours Degree (Accounting or Financial Accounting)
SAIPA training contract completed
Registered or eligible to register as a PA(SA)
2 - 4 years post articles experience in a similar role
Duties and Responsibilities
Main areas of focus will include:
Provide accounting services to Moore clients
Ensure clients' accounting records are accurately maintained and all compliance is met
Prepare management accounts, conducting financial analysis and providing insights
Prepare and analyse Annual Financial Statements of various entity types
Tax Planning and Compliance for various entity types
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, addressing queries, explaining financial reports, and ensuring timely communication.
Correspond with South African Revenue Services regarding queries, verifications and audits
* Liaise with internal divisions and/or external auditors and regulatory bodies
