Financial Accountant

Job Description
The primary responsibility of this role will be to provide financial information by maintaining and reconciling accounts, and preparing reports.
Duties will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Fixed Asset Month-end Reporting
- GL close
- Income Tax and VAT returns and compliance
- Preparation of financial statements and ensuring compliance
- Review and release supplier payments
- Review and approve supplier invoices on system
- Completed Degree in Finance or Accounting
- 3 to 5 years' experience within a Financial Accounting position essential
- Strong MS Excel skills essential
- Experience in SA Tax Laws
- FAR experience
- Understanding of GAAP principles
- Deadline driven
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Team player
