., a leading manufacturer of injection moulded products in South Africa, is currently seeking a full-time Financial Accountant, to join their team at their Blackheath, Cape Town manufacturing facility. We offer a competitive compensation package, and a great working environment.

:

Accounts Payable and Receivable

Oversee the Processing of invoices, payments, and receipts.

Monitor accounts receivable and payables, with bi-weekly reporting.

Training and development: Provide training and guidance to the Financial

Administrator to ensure a smooth transition and knowledge transfer.

Budgeting and forecasting: Develop and maintain a comprehensive budgeting

and forecasting process

Financial analysis: Provide insightful financial analysis to support business

decision-making.

Develop and implement proper financial processes and procedures.

Managing company's financial data and reports,

Tax and Compliance

Assisting with the preparation and submission of Provisional Tax, Income Tax

Personal Income Tax.

Preparing the VAT Reports for submission to the External Accountants.

Beneficial to understand VAT on Imports and Exports with SAD 500, HS codes

etc to advise Clients on VAT and possible Duties.

Filing CIPC Annual Returns.

Ad-hoc & Administrative Support:

Assist with ad-hoc duties requested by management.

Related administration duties and support.

:

Beneficial to have AGA (SA), SAIPA, or other SAICA membership.

Accounting Degree or Diploma is required.

Experience:

At least 2-4 years proven experience in a similar role, preferably within an SME

environment.

Proficiency in accounting software - preferably QuickBooks Online.

Strong MS Office Excel skills.

Experience in the import and export sector is advantageous.

Skills:

Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial regulations.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

The aim of this position is to establish a proper financial process and setting up

a successful collaboration between the Financial Accountant and Financial

Administrator.
