Financial Accountant job vacancy in Stikland / Bellville.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Day to day drive of the debtors and creditors teams, and review of payroll. Assist the financial director in reporting accurate and timeous management accounts. Facilitate good communication between the finance team and internal and external parties. Manage risk by ensuring that internal controls and segregation of duties are maintained within the business. Debtors management. Ensure all monthly reporting deadlines are met. Supporting the financial director in the review, interpretation and reporting of the company's financial results monthly in a management accounts format. Ensure that all the relevant reconciliation processes are undertaken timeous, are up to date and reconciling items are cleared regularly. Supporting the financial director in managing the process and compilation of the annual and strategic budget for the company. Supporting the financial director to ensure approved budgets are adhered to. Review and submit all statutory returns and statistical information. Ensuring compliance with the various statutory regulations (e.g. VAT, Tax, PAYE etc.) Design the Company's financial policies, rules and regulations and ensure adherence to them.

Requirements:

Relevant tertiary qualification. Professional Accountant (SA) / CIMA / AGA (SA) Post articles commerce experience in a manufacturing or consumer goods business environment. * Proven track record of implementing and improving systems of internal control and financial accounting.
