With a strong presence in the industry, they focus on innovation, accuracy, and exceptional customer service.About the RoleThe Finance Support Specialist plays a critical role in managing daily accounting operations, including reconciliations, financial reporting, and creditor/debtor management. This role supports the financial integrity of the business and contributes to operational efficiency.Key Responsibilitiesxe2x97x8f Bank Reconciliations: Perform daily reconciliations for ZAR and CFC accounts
and manage month-end processing.
xe2x97x8f Financial Period Closing: Post bank transactions and ensure timely monthly
closings.
xe2x97x8f Debtor & Creditor Management: Issue statements, resolve queries, reconcile
accounts, and prepare for sign-off.
xe2x97x8f Creditor Applications: Complete and verify application forms for new creditors.
xe2x97x8f Bank Payments: Load payments into the system for approval and ensure
deadlines are met.
xe2x97x8f Invoicing: Generate and process daily invoices.
xe2x97x8f Ad-hoc Support: Arrange travel bookings and provide general financial admin
support as required.Skills and Qualificationsxe2x97x8f Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
xe2x97x8f 3xe2x80x935 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in logistics or freight
forwarding.
xe2x97x8f Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software (CargoWise
preferred).
xe2x97x8f High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
xe2x97x8f Ability to work under pressure, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines.Preferred Attributesxe2x97x8f Knowledge of financial reporting standards and SA tax regulations.
xe2x97x8f Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
xe2x97x8f Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
