Group Finance | Operational Finance | Mining Services
Our client, a leading mining services provider delivering reliable underground and surface mining solutions across South Africa, is seeking a young, qualified finance professional to join their group finance team in Rustenburg.
This is a hybrid finance-operations role, ideal for someone who is analytically strong, commercially minded, and eager to gain exposure within a fastpaced, asset-intensive environment. Relocation to Rustenburg is required.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will gain exposure to, and be responsible for:
Group consolidated reporting and financial analysis
Budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling
Business analysis, cost analysis and operational performance reviews
Asset management across mining equipment and operational assets
Development and maintenance of reporting models, dashboards and KPIs
Commercial support for business development, bids and tenders
Contracts management, commercial reviews and negotiations
Audit preparation and interaction with external auditors
Assisting senior management with strategic and operational finance initiatives
Minimum Requirements
CA(SA) Minimum 3 years postarticle experience Other relevant high-level finance qualifications (e.g., CIMA, BCom Hons Accounting, CTA) may be considered
Strong academic record and solid understanding of financial reporting
Experience in financial modelling, consolidation principles & budgeting
Advanced proficiency in Excel; exposure to BI tools (Power BI/Tableau) advantageous
Strong commercial and analytical capability
Willingness to relocate to Rustenburg and engage closely with operations
Valid Driver's Licence
