The Finance & Operations Manager role forms part of the senior management team and the key responsibilities are to manage the accounting operations of the company, manage the staff payroll using SAP and VIP, and manage the day-to-day operations.###
Key Responsibilities
The accounting function includes the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards. The position includes being responsible for cash and risk management.
The payroll function includes managing the monthly staff payroll and all of the associated payroll administration duties, including but not limited to SARS e-filing (EMP201; EMP501), VAT returns, VAT calculations and payments, employee tax and IRP5 reconciliations.
The operations function includes managing the day-to-day office tasks such as liaising with internal and external suppliers and contractors, ordering equipment and office supplies, managing the office cleaner, facilitating office repairs and managing building related matters such as parking.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Excellent working knowledge of SAP
Excellent working knowledge of payroll
Skills and Experience
A Bachelor's degree and Fully Qualified Accountancy Qualification
5+ years of relevant experience post qualification
ESSENTIAL - Must have excellent knowledge of VIP Payroll; Pastel accounting software and SAP accounting software
STRONG knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Knowledge of forex exchange adjustments
