Role:

Finance Operations Assistant


Location:

South Africa (Remote until further notice)




Key Responsibilities




Financial Management




Manage end-to-end financial processes for freelancers across UK and EMEA Handle timesheets, contracts, purchase orders, and invoice approvals Conduct thorough financial reconciliation to support our growth and margin KPIs Serve as the critical link between Central Resource and Finance teams



Stakeholder Communication




Act as a point of contact for freelancer financial queries and escalations Liaise between freelancers and internal teams to resolve financial issues Manage relationships with our key freelancer platforms and suppliers Ensure smooth administrative processes that keep our client work moving



Reporting & Data Management




Create and maintain reports on freelancer spend, margin, and reconciliation Capture and manage data to support quick decision-making



Process Optimization




Maintain up-to-date documentation and standard operating procedures Ensure financial processes align with current business standards and local regulations Create practical financial guides for our systems Become the go-to expert for financial operational processes within the team



Required Skills & Attributes




Problem-solving mindset essential in our entrepreneurial environment People-focused approach when working with internal teams, freelancers, and suppliers Exceptional attention to detail in a high-volume request environment Data and insights driven with strong analytical capabilities Eagerness to learn and adapt to new tools and systems Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience creating clear, actionable reports Ability to manage multiple priorities in our fast-paced culture Experience with financial administration, preferably within the resourcing discipline
