Job Description
Title: Financial Operations Manager
Location: Mpumalanga
Salary: R 600 000 to R 690 000 (depending on experience)
Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
- This can also be seen as a General Manager Finance role
- Financial planning
- Strategic planning
- Ensuring financial governance through the implementation of control measures
- Compiling and maintaining budgets
- Preparing taxation and tax compliance
- Asset control .
- Stakeholder relationship management
- Ownership of annual audit and financial statements
- Compiling reports and financial packs for submission to the Board of Directors
- Finance Degree + articles
- Registration with Professional Accounting body (advantageous)
- 5 years post articles exposure
- 5 years people management experience
- Knowledge of South African tax
- Experience finance business partnering to the commercial side of the business
- Willing to work overtime during busy seasons
- Can effectively train staff
- Strong leadership
- Good communicator
- Detail orientation
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
