Qualifications & Experience:

Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CA(SA), CIMA, or equivalent qualification advantageous).
Minimum of 05 years' experience in finance management, with at least 3 years in the mining industry.
Strong knowledge of mining cost structures, financial systems, and reporting standards.
Advanced skills in MS Excel and experience with ERP/accounting systems (Sage, SAP, Oracle, or similar).
Excellent knowledge of corporate finance, compliance, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the finance department, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with IFRS and regulatory requirements.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures across mining operations.
Conduct financial analysis to support business decision-making and operational performance.
Ensure compliance with tax, audit, and statutory obligations.
Manage cash flow, working capital, and risk management strategies.
Oversee procurement, supply chain, and fixed asset management from a financial perspective.
Partner with senior management to develop long-term financial strategies.
Liaise with auditors, banks, investors, and regulatory bodies.
