Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Financial Accounting
• Minimum 3 xe2x80x93 5 years relevant Experience in Finance, Hospitality experience an advantage

• Pastel Evolution (Asset Model) Opera

Description

• Submit monthly payroll information to GM for approval
• Month end Trial balance and month end packs
• Update Pastel with supplierxe2x80x99s invoices, bank movements, payments, depreciation journal, prepayments, provisions, depreciation journals, provisions, accruals, and payroll
• Monthly forecasts and cash flow
• Monthly balance sheet and suppliersxe2x80x99 reconciliation
• Maintain assets register and depreciation file
• Update daily revenue journals and account
• Approve and check weekly revenue forecast before submission
• Assist General Manager on all financial and operating issues
• Weekly cash flow and loading of approved payments
• Complete annual budget
• Submit all statutory returns VAT, UIF, ROE, and EMP501 information to SARS and other statutory bodies
• Liaison with year-end statutory audits
• Liaison with Group Human Resources Department for complaints
• Balance sheet Reconciliation
• Ensure stock files are up to date and monthly stock takes are performed
• Manage the outstanding debtors and creditors of the property
• Developing and managing financial systems/models
