Job Description

Malander is seeking an immediately available Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) to step into a Finance Manager role for a client operating in a fast-paced, high-performance environment. This position is suited to a commercially astute finance professional with strong experience in valuations, financial modelling, and due diligence, who works quickly, takes initiative, and delivers high-impact insights.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver financial analysis across valuations, financial modelling, and transaction support.
• Prepare and review complex financial models, including forecasts, scenario analysis, and sensitivity modelling.
• Conduct financial due diligence, identifying key risks, value drivers, and opportunities.
• Support strategic initiatives, investments, mergers, and acquisitions.
• Prepare management reports, board packs, and decision-support analysis.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to provide commercially focused financial insights.
• Review financial information for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant standards.
• Manage multiple workstreams simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
• Proactively identify issues, propose solutions, and drive improvements.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Chartered Accountant - CA(SA) (essential).
• Strong experience in valuations, financial modelling, and due diligence.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
• Proven ability to work quickly, independently, and with initiative.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
• Immediate availability or short notice period is essential.
