Our client is a well-established, market-leading organisation operating in the financial services and forex environment, based at their Head Office in Johannesburg North. Key Responsibilities:

• Full management of the accounting function, ensuring that all monthly deadlines are met
• Leadership and management of the finance team, including performance appraisals and staff development
• Preparation of monthly management accounts, flash results, board packs, and reporting packs
• Cash flow management, forecasting, budgeting, and annual budget consolidation
• Implementation of policies, procedures, and new financial systems
• Liaison with internal and external auditors and oversight of statutory and tax submissions

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• Education: CA(SA) essential (BCom Accounting / CIMA advantageous)
• Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience as a Financial Manager; forex or financial services experience beneficial; proven people management experience
• Skills: Advanced Excel, Accpac experience, strong systems and reporting capability
• Attributes: Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, accountability, adaptability, and the ability to perform under pressure
