Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Financial Manager to join our team. The Financial Manager will play a crucial role in managing the financial operations of the company, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing financial analysis and insights to support decision-making. This position requires a strong background in finance, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams - specifically skilled within the Insurance Sector - ideally Health Insurance.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing the financial operations of the company, including budgeting, financial reporting, and cash flow management.
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and analysis to support decision-making processes.
• Conduct financial forecasting and budgeting activities in collaboration with the Financial Director and other stakeholders.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations to optimize financial outcomes.
• Assist in developing and implementing financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial plans with operational objectives and strategic goals.
• Support the month-end close off process, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and present findings to management.
• Assist in managing relationships with external stakeholders such as auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and contribute to continuous improvement, specifically within the Insurance Sector - with experience within Health and Medical Insurance

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a financial management role post articles.
• Solid understanding of financial principles, budgeting, and financial analysis.
• Proficiency in financial software and advanced MS Excel skills, Power Bi etc.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis and reporting.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
