About the Role

Our client is looking for a hands-on, strategic Head of Finance to lead their finance function and ensure the financial health and compliance of their manufacturing operation. You will oversee everything from financial reporting and cost management to audits and business performance analysis all while helping steer the company toward growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the finance department, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and financial integrity.
• Oversee standard costing, budget management, and performance tracking.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve financial policies and procedures.
• Prepare and present financial results and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory financial requirements.
• Approve and verify financial transactions, maintaining a strong control environment.
• Coordinate annual audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Partner with leadership to optimize financial performance and efficiency across the business.
• Provide mentorship and professional development to the finance team.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Finance (non-negotiable)
• 5+ years experience in a finance management or departmental leadership role.
• Proven ability to manage teams and resources effectively.
• Strong knowledge of corporate finance principles, cost management, and performance metrics.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and leadership skills.
• Manufacturing industry experience (especially automotive) is a strong advantage.
