• Preparation and review of monthly management accounts
• Oversight of financial reporting in line with IFRS
• Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Delivery of accurate, decision-useful financial insights to senior management

• Strong internal control environments and process discipline
• Oversight of reconciliations, balance sheet integrity, and audit readiness
• Engagement with internal and external auditors
• Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements within financial services

Liquidity, Capital & Cash Flow

• Cash flow forecasting and liquidity management
• Capital allocation support and balance sheet optimisation
• Monitoring and reporting on key financial risk areas

Stakeholder & Business Partnering

• Acting as a finance business partner to operational and executive stakeholders
• Translating financial information into commercial insight
• Supporting strategic initiatives and change projects

Leadership & Team Development

• Managing, mentoring, and developing finance teams
• Driving accountability, delivery, and continuous improvement
• Building strong, collaborative finance functions

Ideal Background

• CA(SA) qualification
• Experience as a Financial Manager within financial services
• Strong technical foundation with a commercial mindset
• Comfortable operating in regulated, deadline-driven environments
• Proven ability to add value beyond the numbers
