Requirements:

• CA (SA)
• Proficient in MS Excel and computerised accounting packages
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Proven track record in a leadership role
• Good interpersonal and communication skills

Duties and responsibilities:

• Organisational strategy management focusing on financial and operational aspects
• Provide Financial analysis and support to management
• Providing support to the Execs, ensuring business decisions are based on solid financial criteria
• Implement and maintain Internal Controls
• Review of all forecasting of all business units and companies in the group
• Monitor performance against budget and implement action where necessary
• Management of the Internal and external Audit processes
• Ensure company assets are adequately protected
• Review of the monthly Business Unit Financial Pack and identify and action variances
• Prepare financial reports and returns (Monthly Business Unit / Plant Financial Pack)
• Review weekly sales reports
• Analyse the Divisional Capex Reports
• Compiling and presenting quarterly Audit Committee and Board packs
• Providing financial analysis for Board Meetings and Divisional reviews
• Management and review of Balance Sheet reconciliations and journal entries
• Prepare and plan Year-end Statutory Audit (external and internal) in line with the consolidated Audit plan
• Review year-end reporting Accounting and Tax Packs
• Draft financial statements (Income Statements and Balance Sheets) for Legal entities
• Following up and actioning Audit findings
• Prepare and update Corporate Tax schedules
• Management of Finance Team
