Finance Manager - Cost and Management Accountant Finance

Our client is looking for a skilled Finance Manager - Cost and Management Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. Key Responsibilities:

• Project Financial Management: Lead the financial side of manufacturing projects, from budgeting and forecasting to monitoring and reporting.
• Cost Analysis: Conduct deep-dive variance and cost analyses to highlight savings opportunities and ensure projects remain profitable.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Build and manage budgets, financial plans, and forecasts that help steer business decisions.
• Financial Reporting: Present insightful reports that track key performance metrics and guide management strategy.
• Compliance: Uphold financial integrity by ensuring adherence to accounting standards, policies, and governance requirements.
• Collaboration: Partner with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver accurate, timely financial information.
• Audit Support: Provide reliable documentation and explanations to support internal and external audits.
• Process Improvement: Spot opportunities to simplify and improve financial processes, reporting, and cost control.

Key Requirements:

• CIMA qualification and CMA experience is essential.
• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years in finance and management accounting, ideally within manufacturing or automotive environments.
• Strong financial and costing expertise
• Advanced MS Excel skills and proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/BI experience a plus)
• Solid business process knowledge, governance, and risk management awareness
