Job Description

Position Overview:
This internship provides insight into the full finance function in a complex international business. The intern will:
Work with experienced finance professionals and receive mentorship
Learn core financial processes and systems, including ERP and procurement platforms
Support preparation of management accounts and financial controls
Assist with financial monitoring of projects and business units
Gain exposure to data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI
Key Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping & Accounting Support
Process and record accounts payable and receivable invoices
Ensure accurate coding and documentation in accounting systems (e.g., SAP Business One, ARIBA)
Reconcile transactions and follow up on outstanding items
Assist with intercompany billing and documentation
Maintain organized financial records (physical and digital)
Administrative & Operational Finance Tasks
Perform document archiving and data entry
Support day-to-day finance operations including petty cash and credit card reconciliations
Manage routine finance logistics such as stationery, contract summaries, and exchange rate updates
Project & System Support
Assist with financial administration of projects, including document control and purchase order reconciliation
Support finance workflows in ERP platforms
Financial Reporting & Analysis
Contribute to financial tracking and updates (e.g., weekly turnover tracker)
Assist with ad hoc reporting and basic financial analysis
Support dashboard monitoring and data visualization under guidance
Participate in project financial reviews and cost variance tracking
Qualifications & Experience:
Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn
Good organizational, analytical, and communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office tools
Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, ARIBA) or Power BI is advantageous but not required
