Job Description
Our group situated in the heart of Phoenix is seeking a Finance Intern to join its existing team. Our group is based in the FMCG industry and has supermarkets under its banner. As finance interns, your primary purpose is to assist the Admin Department with schedules, reconciliations, data analysis and reports. You will report directly to the Store Admin Manager.
This job profile is not an exclusive list of responsibilities and could be changed from time to time per business requirements.
Critical Outputs
Payment and allocation of remittances Creating of invoices Creating or updating excel schedules Reconciling of supplier accounts Processing of journals Month-end processes Working with collection teams to secure payments of overdue accounts Assisting with administrative tasks where needed
Requirements
BCom or equivalent finance/accounting qualification. Computer literate with Basic understanding Microsoft Applications Deadline driven Willingness to learn and contribute

Strong analytical skills
Portray strong attention to detail, whilst maintaining efficiency.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent planning, administration, and organizational skills.
Demonstrate a strong sense of accountability.
Basic understanding in Microsoft Excel
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tasks.
Duration of internship: 12 months
This internship is ideal for graduates seeking employment
Graduates with minimal accounting experience is not essential however would be advantageous
