Finance Intern - DurbanFull job descriptionMain Purpose of RoleProvide financial, clerical and administrative support to the finance team & other departments in order to ensure all financial processes are performed on time and in an accurate manner.Skills required1. Strong communication skills with the ability to discuss any issues with a wide variety of individuals and groups. Capability to produce content on time, with attention to detail.2. A well-organized team player with the ability to perform various tasks, act individually, and think creatively.3. Familiarity with Microsoft applications.4. Willingness to learn and develop financial skills.5. Excellent organizational skills and administrative skillsEducational QualificationsDegree/Diploma in Accounting or equivalentKey Performance Areas1. Management of daily job delivery2. Verify and audit debit orders for accurate debiting.3. Risk and Compliance duties.4. Classify expenditure to appropriate SOCI line items.5. Account payables.6. Collections7. Costing8. Expenditure analysis and classification9. Reconciliations10. Verify and audit debit orders for accurate debiting.11. VAT Control.12. Financial records management.13. Bank reconciliation xe2x80x93 sub accounts.14. Journal entries and management accounts.15. Accounts receivables management.16. Debtors age-analysis.17. Internal statements compilation.Other1.
