About the Role:

As a

Finance Intern

, you'll gain valuable, hands-on experience in a professional healthcare environment. You'll support our Finance Department in key functions such as reconciliations, reporting, intercompany transactions, and audit preparation -- while receiving guidance and mentorship from an experienced Finance Manager.

Minimum Requirements:

Completed

BCom in Accounting

or equivalent qualification

Proficiency in MS Word and Excel

(essential) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail and accountability Clear written and verbal communication skills A proactive attitude and willingness to learn

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with intercompany transactions:

Prepare and post journal entries and reconciliations between entities.

Maintain the Fixed Asset Register:

Update and track company assets; record acquisitions, disposals, and assist with depreciation.

General Ledger Support:

Post daily transactions (including cashbook) and ensure accuracy of ledger accounts.

Perform account reconciliations:

Reconcile bank statements, supplier accounts, and internal balances.

Financial Reporting:

Support month-end reporting, prepare summaries for management, and analyse variances.

Accounts Payable:

Assist with invoice processing, vendor payments, and expense tracking.

Administrative Support:

Handle document management, filing, and general finance admin.

SARS E-Filing:

Assist with VAT and EMP submissions.

Audit Preparation:

Help compile the year-end audit file and supporting documents.
