Are you an experienced F&I professional who thrives in a fast-paced dealership environment.
Our client, a well-established motor dealership in Pretoria, is looking for a Finance & Insurance Manager to support strong vehicle sales volumes by structuring deals, securing approvals and delivering a premium customer experience.
You will work closely with the sales team to convert deals efficiently, maximise finance and value added product penetration, and ensure full compliance with all regulatory requirements.
What you will be responsible for
Finance structuring and deal support

• Collaborate with sales executives to structure competitive finance deals that meet customer needs and credit criteria
• Explain finance options, interest rates and terms in a clear, professional manner
• Negotiate and close finance approvals while protecting the dealership's risk position

Value added and insurance products

• Present and sell extended warranties, service plans, insurance and other F&I products
• Match products to customer needs and budgets, while maintaining ethical and compliant sales practices

Customer credit evaluation

• Review and verify credit applications, income, affordability and supporting documents
• Analyse credit reports and advise customers where necessary on improving creditworthiness

Compliance, risk and documentation

• Ensure full compliance with FAIS, NCA and internal dealership policies
• Complete and maintain accurate contract packs, records and electronic files
• Manage CRM stages across the deal lifecycle. manual approval, fraud and company verification, delivery checks, after sales follow ups

Process and relationship management

• Work closely with banks, finance houses and insurers to secure timely approvals
• Handle a high volume of deals. approximately 60+ units per month
• Support a seamless handover from sales to finance and through to vehicle delivery

What you need to bring
Qualifications

• Grade 12
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field preferred
• FAIS accreditation essential
• NCA accreditation advantageous
• RE5 certification strongly beneficial

Experience and skills

• 3 to 5 years' experience as a Finance and Insurance Manager in the automotive sector. motor dealership environment highly advantageous
• Strong knowledge of retail vehicle finance, credit scoring and lending practices
• Proven track record managing high deal volumes. 60+ vehicles per month
• Confident communicator with strong negotiation and customer engagement skills
• High attention to detail. organised, deadline driven and comfortable working under pressure
