Job Purpose:
To provide recent graduates with a structured learning and practical workplace experience within the Finance function of the Critical Care Business Unit. The aim is to bridge the gap between academic learning and the world of work, equipping the graduate with essential financial and business skills in alignment.

  • Age between 18 and 35
  • Must be unemployed at the time of application.
  • Must meet the definition of "Black People" as defined in the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment Act 53 of 2003, as amended
  • Must be South African citizen with a valid South African ID
  • Available for full duration of the 12-month programme
Responsibilities:
  • Assist in processing supplier invoices, payment runs, and account reconciliations
  • Support monthly and year-end financial closing processes
  • Participate in the preparation of budgets and forecasts under supervision
  • Help maintain and update financial records, databases, and documentation
  • Contribute to audit preparations by compiling required supporting documents
  • Analyse financial data and assist in the preparation of financial reports
  • Participate in cost control initiatives and variance analysis
  • Learn and utilise financial systems and software (e.g. Oracle, Excel).
  • A Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree with a major in Accounting, Finance, Financial Management, or Economics
  • An equivalent NQF Level 7 finance-related qualification from a recognized tertiary institution
  • Studies funded by NSFAS.
