Job Description
An established and innovative business within a dynamic, fast-paced industry is seeking a highly skilled Chief Financial Officer to join its executive leadership team. The CFO will play a critical role in shaping financial strategy, optimising performance, and ensuring the business remains agile and competitive in a rapidly evolving market.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the overall financial strategy aligned with the business vision.
- Oversee all financial operations including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management.
- Drive profitability and cost optimisation across all business units.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements.
- Support strategic growth initiatives, including potential investments, partnerships, and acquisitions.
- Provide insights and guidance to the executive team and board on financial performance and opportunities.
- Lead and mentor the finance team, building capability and driving a culture of excellence.
- CA(SA) qualification essential.
- 10+ years' progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years at executive level.
- Exposure to fast-paced, high-growth industries advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of corporate finance, M&A, and capital structuring.
- Proven experience in stakeholder engagement and executive decision-making.
