Our client, a premium, mission-driven chocolate ingredients company is looking for a Finance & Compliance Manager to take charge of all financial admin, forecasting, reporting, and multi-country compliance for our international chocolate business. The role blends technical finance work with practical, commercial thinking, and youll partner closely with the CEO and wider teams. Key Responsibilities: *Financial Admin & Reporting: Run day-to-day finance across all entities, including statutory reporting, tax filings and audits; Support budgeting, management reporting, cash-flow planning and long-term forecasts; Oversee payments and payroll. *Multi-Country Compliance: Lead incorporation projects and manage compliance across NL, DE, CH and the UK; Handle VAT, statutory filings, UBO admin and coordination with external advisors; Drive key finance and tax projects. *Commercial Finance: Manage cash flow to support growth; Oversee order-to-cash, production bookings and inventory-related finance; Support costings, pricing and procurement from a financial perspective. *Commercial Support & Analysis: Provide financial modelling for business development; Support key accounts with pricing and contract terms; Deliver insights for UK/Peru subsidiaries and new product development. *Systems & Process Improvement: Lead finance input into ERP implementation; Improve processes, strengthen controls, and enhance reporting frameworks. Essential qualifications, skills, and experience: 57 years progressive finance experience, including 23 years in management; Bachelors or Masters in Finance / Accounting required; professional qualification strongly preferred; Multi-entity and international experience essential; food / FMCG a plus; Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards (IFRS / local GAAP), multi-jurisdiction VAT / tax regulations, and cost accounting; Proficiency in ERP systems with implementation experience valued; Excel expert with strong financial modeling skill; Understanding of compliance frameworks and external audit processes; Fluent English required; German highly preferred, Dutch advantageous; Strong communication skills with stakeholders, auditors, and advisors.
