Job Description

Job Title: Finance Clerk
Purpose of the Role:
To provide accurate and efficient financial and administrative support to the finance department, ensuring that all financial records are maintained in line with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Capturing and processing invoices, payments, and journals
  • Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Reconciling bank statements and supplier accounts
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and filing
  • Assisting with month-end processing and reporting
  • Handling queries from suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Supporting the finance team with general administrative duties
Minimum Requirements:
  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • Relevant finance or accounting qualification (advantageous)
  • 2-4 years' experience in a finance or accounting role
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting systems
  • Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
