As the Finance Associate, your duties and responsibilities include the following:
Record daily financial transactions, including accounts payables and receivables
Prepare invoices, track payments and send reminders
Manage collections and resolve client queries on invoicing systems
Process driver payments
Capture fuel and expense claims, and maintain updated records
Complete regular reconciliations and ensure accurate cash flow reporting
Assist with financial reports, reconciliations, and support month-end closure
Maintain organized financial records using G-Suite and Xero
Work along with the Finance Manager to ensure compliance with policies, deadlines and reporting standards
Skills & Experience:
Proficiency in G-Suite and Xero Accounting Software
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a junior accounting/bookkeeping role
Excellent communicator
Attention to detail
Qualification:
Completed Finance or Accounting degree/diploma
Completed Matric (Grade 12)
