About Pepkor Payments and Lending (Pty) Ltd

Pepkor Payments and Lending is a new division of Pepkor Trading (Pty) Ltd, that incorporates personal loans and store credit operations of Pepkor through two registered credit providers namely, Capfin and Tenacity Financial Services, who are also divisions of Pepkor Trading (Pty) Ltd.

The role of the Finance Administrator would be to assume responsibility of performing assigned accounting and related clerical support functions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operational Accounting

• Daily update of all Cashflows with bank actuals
• Assist Finance Controller with Cashflow Monthly Forecast update.
• Assist Operational Accounting team with queries and adjustments mailed to the Finance inbox.
• Assist Operational Accounting team with Einstein processing on an ad hoc basis.
• Monthly Payroll Journal and payment of payroll suppliers
• Assist with the capturing of creditor invoices if required.
• Pay Customer Refunds
• Execute manual staff card payment files for retailers.
• Assist in handling staff card payment queries.
• Upload or blocking of virtual vouchers.
• Lay-by queries and transfers
• Manage SACCRA & IUA queries.

2. Projects

• Provide finance input and assistance to various departments on an ad-hoc basis.

3. Business Analysis

• Update the various business calendars namely the tax tables, trading calendars and public holidays.
• Execute the monthly cross shopping report.
• Execute the monthly Abacus Payover files.
• Execute the monthly Tenacity Staff Unsettled Debt report.
• Update the SACCRA hub key and password.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 2 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in a similar role
• Accounting or Finance diploma preferred.
• Proven track record in the performance areas highlighted above.
