Ensures that expenditure is correctly, timeously and adequately billed to the various projects and therefore recovered from the operational expense accounts
To further ensure that all operational functions are adequately and economically billed and distributed to projects accordingly

Key performance areas:
Ensure that invoice / order complies with WHC SOP's to ensure account processing meets the strict reporting requirements
Compile purchase orders via the P2P system (online)
Submit EPMV's via online system WHC compliance x 2 bank signatories for approval
Update details on audit trail and compiling creditors reconciliation as per statement of account
Follow up on Creditors statement of account with other CHRU sites and WHC syndicates regarding outstanding invoices and payments
Ensure the adherence to the financial requirements by preparing the required files
Compile monthly petrol card reconciliations
Compile monthly credit card, petty cash and patient transport reconciliations
Assist with Ad hoc administrative duties as assigned by management
Update the monthly FAR, tag assets
Control and reporting of all the sites Assets
Conduct Annual Asset verification
Conduct verifications with WHC and external auditors
Ensure all customer interaction (Both internal and external customers) is of the highest professional level
Build and maintain authentic relationships with all stakeholders ensuring that all interactions are professional
Effectively manage work processes to maintain high levels of productivity
Establish and maintain a relationship of trust and respect with participants
Take ownership and accountability for tasks and demonstrate effective self-management
Follow through to ensure that quality and productivity standards of own work are consistently and accurately maintained
Maintain a positive attitude and respond openly to feedback
Take ownership for driving own career development by participating in ongoing training and development activities such as workshops, forums, conferences etc.
Required minimum education and training:
National Diploma in Cost Accounting (B Compt) or BCom Accounts
Advanced Excel Required minimum work experience and abilities
Between 5-6 years post qualification experience in finance and basic costing principles
Experience within an NGO environment or related experience within another industry
Desirable additional education, work experience and personal abilities:
Ability to work under pressure whilst reporting to a variety of stakeholders continuously
Ability to meet stringent deadlines
Ability to work independently and part of a multi-disciplinary team
Must display a high attention to detail
Experience in ACCPAC advantageous
Ability to influence outside of direct line management authority
