Kendrick Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Finance / Accountant on behalf of a luxury safari travel agency based in Cape Town, South Africa. This role is suited to a detail-oriented finance professional with experience in debtors, creditors, and general accounting functions within a fast-paced travel or hospitality environment ??. ? Key Responsibilities ? Manage debtors and creditors, ensuring accurate and timely processing ? Reconcile supplier statements, bank accounts, and credit cards ? Process invoices, payments, and expense claims ? Assist with monthly management accounts and financial reporting ? Monitor cash flow and support budgeting processes ?? Ensure compliance with financial controls and internal procedures ? Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers as required ? Requirements ? Previous experience in a finance, accounting, or bookkeeping role ? Experience within the travel, tourism, or hospitality sector is advantageous ? Strong numerical skills with high attention to detail ? Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel ? Ability to work independently and meet deadlines ? Professional, reliable, and well organised ? Key Competencies ? Strong organisational and time-management skills ? Analytical and methodical approach to financial tasks ?
