Field Services Technician (BUDS) -Animal Feed Additives
The rolewhich will focus on conducting proactive maintenance on all liquid dosing systems for the company as well as completing monthly service reports for each system.The person will be required to follow a call cycle - calling on all of our customers in SA and SADC who have a BUDS installed at their Feed Mills. They will be responsible for ensuring that the dosing systems are dosing 100% correctly. They will also ensure that all faults/errors are quickly resolved to ensure downtime. Essentially, they will need to make sure that every Universal Dosing System (BUDS) is running smoothly at our all times .
Execute BUDS services for all dosing systems across the territory are conducted in accordance with the set call cycle, ensuring service plans are realized and all BUDS and associated equipment are in working order.
Ensure quick turnaround time on dosing system fault finding and fixing at BUDS customers.
Aim to reduce dosing system issues by conducting preventative maintenance during on-site visits.
Proactively set up meetings as per established call cycle and ensure thorough preparation for customer visits.
Adhere to quarterly BUDS call cycle, complete accurate Service reports, and ensure they are correctly filed and are 100% up to date at all times.
Use expert product knowledge to grow existing business with current customers by discovering new BUDS opportunities.
Build value for the customer by investigation to uncover explicit needs and develop those needs.
Demonstrate company capability by utilizing expert product knowledge indicating how BUDS match a customer's explicit needs.
Collect and evaluate customer feedback regarding BUDS innovations to enhance customer experience and increase market penetration.
Use knowledge of the market to identify and acquire new customers in a proactive manner to grow thecustomer base.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, vendors, and business partners by driving customer service excellence.
Monitor competitive activity in each account and ensure that appropriate response strategies are formulated in conjunction with the Sales Manager.
Advise management of changes in competition, product availability, or related matters.
Stay up to date with market trends, feedback findings and business opportunities to the management team.
Liaise with customers and provide regular status updates and feedback on deliveries.
Submit proposals/quotations to customers and ensure accurate orders are submitted on time.
Follow up and resolve customer complaints/queries in a timely and efficient manner.
Ensure compliance with required industry regulations, quality standards, and safety.
Maintain Good Housekeeping Practices in area of responsibility.
