Job Description
Position: Field Service Technician

Salary: Market-Related Salary
Education and Experience:
- Grade 12
- N2 with Electrical and Hydraulic
- 3 years experience
- Knowledge of Deutz diesel engines
- Maintain service and report on all site capital equipment both on surface and underground.
- Technical assistance on all machinery.
- Servicing of site capital equipment.
- Monitoring and reporting on spares stock levels by written report to ensure that the correct costs are booked against the service job.
- Complete daily and weekly audit reports for all machines audited.
- Report any breakdown to the site supervisor not longer than one hour after all attempts have been made to repair the unit and the nature of the repairs required.
- Immediately report any abuse/ negligence by the operators on any of the machines to the supervisor.
