Job Description

Field service engineer required. The candidate will be based in Port Elizabeth, and required to attend to repairs and maintenance of specialized machines in Port Elizabeth and surrounding areas. The candidate must have a strong technical background with electromechanical qualifications. A valid driver's license is a must.

Key Responsibilities:



Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electromechanical machines at client sites. Diagnose faults and carry out effective troubleshooting. Provide technical support and training to clients when required. Complete service reports and maintain accurate documentation. Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.

Requirements:



Proven experience servicing electromechanical equipment. Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Willingness to travel frequently to client locations.

Essential Criteria:



Valid driver's license (Code 8 or higher). Clear criminal record (background checks will be conducted). Matric certificate or equivalent technical qualification.
