Job Summary
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs to ensure equipment reliability
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software issues
Complete accurate service reports and maintain high First-Time Fix Rates (FTFR)
Support clients with remote and on-site technical assistance
Assist with digital configuration and equipment installations
Stay up to date by completing e-learning modules and technical certifications
Maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicles in excellent condition
Skills & Experience
2-3 years' experience in equipment repair/maintenance (fitness, HVAC, printers, etc.)
Qualification in software/network configuration or engineering (non-negotiable)
Strong mechanical and digital troubleshooting abilities
Excellent communicator with a strong customer-service mindset
Team player who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites
Own reliable vehicle
Quick learner, eager to grow technical skills through training
Qualifications
Minimum of National Diploma in mechanical engineering or trade test
Valid driver's license
Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
