Field Service Engineer Intern

. You will provide technical support to customers on operational or maintenance aspects of a variety of system equipment.

Start date:

15 April 2025

Duration:

12 months

Your role:

Perform faultfinding and planned maintenance of Philips equipment; Assisting Field Service Engineers in the field as required; Providing limited technical support within fixed limits to customers on operational or maintenance aspects of system equipment; Serving as secondary customer contact on technical and service related problems; Diagnosing mechanical, hardware, software and systems failures using established procedures; Operating relatively autonomous within procedures, methods and techniques .

You're the right fit if:

1. You are a 2023-2025 graduate with a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering: Light Current/ Computer Systems completed / Biomedical Engineering


2. You are a South African Graduate and have completed all modules/credits for the qualification mentioned above with a minimum of 60%


3. Fluent in English

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.


Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company's main facilities, generally at the customers' or suppliers' locations.
