Job Summary Safari JOBS is urgently searching for a friendly, presentable, self-motivated and enthusiastic Field Guide (Min. FGASA NQF 2) for a beautiful, very busy safari lodge situated in the Kruger area. Our client is in need of a Guest and team focused individual who is driven to add value and who can help improve upon the fantastic offerings already in place at their lodge. Entry level Guides with 3 to 6 months practical experience are very welcome to apply. This property has four very experienced Guides that are keen to mentor and provide guidance. If you are looking for a stable, fun, family orientated type work environment where there is an extremely low staff turnover then this is the ideal position for you! ??? : FGASA Field Guide NQF 2 - Minimum; CATHSSETA; Some existing Big 5 guiding / practical experience; PrDP and reliable transport; First Aid; DEAT registered (preferably for Mpumalanga); Any other qualifications / experience - bonus; Friendly; warm and enthusiastic personality. / / ???? : Gross salary of R7, 500.00 per month; Gratuities direct by Guests - Can range between approx. R4 - R20k p/m dependent on the Guide's performance with Guests, occupancies etc; Accommodation; Meals; Uniform; Laundry of uniform items; Provident fund contribution of 6.5% (50% equal match by Employer), after first 3 months; R500.00 contribution towards medical aid, should you decide to opt into one, after first 3 months; Work/leave cycle: 21 days on, 6 days off + 15 days annual leave over and above standard off days.
