Job Summary
Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Field Guide (Level 2 with back up Trails) to join a renowned luxury lodge in the Timbavati, known for its Big 5 sightings and unforgettable guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct guided game drives with expert knowledge of wildlife, flora, and conservation
- Provide guests with safe, informative, and memorable safari encounters
- Maintain vehicles, rifles, and equipment to the highest standards
- Support conservation and sustainability initiatives
- Work closely with the lodge team to ensure seamless, luxury guest service
- FGASA Level 2 with Back Up Trails (Lead Trails not required - no bush walks conducted)
- Valid First Aid Certificate
- PrDP (Professional Driving Permit)
- DEAT/THETA registered (or ability to obtain)
- Rifle proficiency and ARH qualification (preferred)
- Excellent communication, hosting, and guest interaction skills
- Passion for wildlife, conservation, and hospitality excellence
