Then Bio-Rad's Field Application Specialist role could be your next challenge!
Bio-Rad Clinical Diagnostics Group is seeking a Field Application Specialist with experience in Quality Control products and informatic solutions. The successful candidate will collaborate with sales managers and the application team in South Africa, contributing to team efforts.
This field-based position involves travel that may require overnight stays.
How You'll Make an Impact:

• Ensure both short-term and long-term sales results in the area of Quality Control products and informatics solutions.
• Use scientific expertise during field sales activities, including meetings, demonstrations, seminars, webinars, and training sessions, to generate new business opportunities.
• Provide field application support for customers using installed instruments, working together with Technical Support, Service, and Sales teams.
• Plan, execute, and follow up on sales activities to target high-value customers and key market segments, focusing on Key Opinion Leaders and Key Decision Makers at important accounts.
• Maintain an expert understanding of relevant technology and applications, share knowledge within the sales team, and retain basic familiarity with the entire product portfolio to identify new sales prospects.

What You Bring:

• Academic degree (e.g., Bachelor) in a relevant scientific discipline.
• Organisational and time management skills; ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Proficient presentation and communication skills.
• Previous experience in sales and/or laboratory work.
• Experience presenting at seminars, workshops, or trainings is beneficial.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
