Job Requirement Advert: Fibreglass Laminator
We are seeking a skilled and reliable
Fibreglass Laminator
to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for manufacturing, repairing, and finishing fibreglass components to a high standard of quality and safety.Key Responsibilities:
Prepare moulds by cleaning, waxing, and applying release agents Lay up fibreglass mat, cloth, and resin according to specifications Mix and apply resins, catalysts, and additives correctly Perform hand lay-up, rolling, trimming, and finishing of fibreglass products Inspect completed work for defects and ensure quality standards are met Repair damaged fibreglass components when required Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean working area Follow health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times
Requirements:
Proven experience as a fibreglass laminator or similar role Good knowledge of resins, fibreglass materials, and lamination techniques Ability to read and follow drawings, work instructions, and specifications Strong attention to detail and workmanship Physically fit and able to work with protective equipment Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Advantages:
Previous factory or marine/composite industry experience Valid driver's licence
Competitive remuneration offered based on experience.

Pay: R55,00 - R75,00 per hour
