Specialised Aquatic Feeds is an innovative company specialising in high-performance aquatic feeds. Their team is dedicated to advancing feed technology through scientific research, strategic client collaboration, and industry best practices.
They are currently seeking a qualified and results-driven Feed Nutrition and Product Developer to join their team. The successful candidate will bring expertise in nutritional science, particularly in the formulation of both aquatic and terrestrial animal feeds, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, research-based solutions to their clients.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Monitor and enhance the performance of existing feed products.
2) Lead the formulation and development of new feed products for aquaculture and companion animals.
3) Actively participate in client consultations in collaboration with the Sales & Marketing team.
4) Facilitate coordination between clients, internal nutritionists, and cross-functional teams to support product
innovation.
5) Convert nutritional formulations into comprehensive job cards, including specifications for production,
packaging, costing, and performance monitoring.
6) Design and execute research trials, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and reporting standards.
7) Manage digital and online sales platforms.
8) Coordinate and deliver technical workshops, training sessions, and conference engagements.

1) Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
2) Proven ability to deliver client-focused solutions and build lasting relationships.
3) Proficiency in trial design, data interpretation, and performance analysis.
4) Critical thinking and analytical skills with a solid understanding of research methodologies.
5) Experience in public speaking and professional presentations.
Qualifications and experience:
1) Bachelor's degree in Nutritional Sciences or a related field (Postgraduate qualification advantageous).
2) 3-5 years of relevant experience in feed formulation and product development.
3) Experience in commercial aquaculture feed production is highly desirable.
4) Strong knowledge of aquatic nutrition and feed manufacturing processes.
5) Familiarity with ERP systems such as SYSPRO is an advantage.
